A message about COVID-19:

We are aware of the COVID-19 virus and are continually monitoring ongoing efforts by the CDC and Georgia Dept. of Public Health. We felt it may be helpful to pass along guidelines to our Operators to ensure the overall health and safety of staff and residents.  The GARR Network recommends the following actions to be taken by all Operators:

• Increased, regular sanitation of all facilities

• Prior to admission, asking all potential residents pre-screening questions about travel, flu-like symptoms, and their contact with individuals who are confirmed or suspected of having COVID-19 

• Increased measures to remind staff and residents about ways to prevent the spread of germs

• Asking visitors to refrain from visiting if they are exhibiting flu-like symptoms

• Discouraging hugging and holding hands during fellowship times

• Ongoing communication with families of residents
