GARR NEW PROGRAM Certification Requirements & Process
First we want to thank you for taking the time and putting forth the effort it takes to become a certified program with The Georgia Association of Recovery Residences (GARR).
We are in a new era of recovery awareness in the state of Georgia. Conversation and focus around the topic of Substance Use Disorder and mental health services is finally starting to be a mainstream focus of legislation and community leaders.
With this raised awareness it makes what we do at GARR even more important than ever. Communities and community leaders are looking to GARR to raise the bar on best practices and hold providers to a standard that ensures safe and effective levels of care. It is vitally important that we work together as recovery providers to help each other meet and exceed these levels of care and raise Georgia up as a leader in recovery in our country.
To continue to improve the level of services and trainings we offer our certified programs and the recovery community as a whole we have CE requirements for Certification as a GARR Accredited Program. Our goal is to ensure we are all best equipped to be as safe and effective for our clients and community as possible.
