THE PROGRAM
“The Phoenix” is a structured supportive Sober Living program developed to assist in the transition of homeless women.
This program is designed using a therapeutic community model. This model promotes harmony, structure, independence, and service. The Phoenix program highlights the importance of a balance in relationships and rules understanding without a balance rebellion and relapse into unhealthy lifestyle are inevitable. This program includes intensive counseling, self-esteem building, substance abuse education, HIV/AIDS prevention education, family unification strategies, financial education, academic support (which includes GED prep and testing; as well as, college placement), employment assistance, and training.
