Founded in 1980, Providence Ministries is a 501(c) 3 organization with its founding mission to rescue men and women in need and “proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ in word and deed”.
Providence Ministries Men’s Recovery Program is a 6-month; residential, therapeutic community that is Christian oriented incorporating the 12 step philosophy.
Our programming consists of daily structure held to a time schedule. Participants are given work therapy assignments each day designed to help them with work ethic and learning to be productive and cooperative in a workplace environment.
Curriculum of Care & Amenities
Our curriculum of study is composed of fundamental bible studies; “Celebrate Recovery Inside” a Christ centered 12 step workbook, and a Daily Moral Inventory. Individual and Group therapy are facilitated by Certified Addiction Counselors. Daily classes consist of Bible studies, Psychoactive drug education, relapse prevention, life skills, Men’s issues, and weekly 12 step support groups such as Overcomers Outreach, AA, and NA.
Inside recreational activity is provided through ping pong, billiards, workout equipment, and, outside team activity such as volleyball, basketball, and softball. We also have a regular schedule of worship services on Sunday and Wednesday for participants and family members.

Community based GED services.
Upon completion of the program there are options for Transitional Living and job placement.
